David Agyen Darko is currently a clinical research coordinator at UT Southwestern’s Department of Emergency Medicine. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences from Bowie State University and his Master’s of Science in Medical Physiology from Case Western Reserve University. He is a former IRTA fellow from the National Institute of Health and has had a myriad of research experiences within the USDA, National Institute on Aging and University of Nairobi in Kenya. He plans to attend medical school with the hopes of addressing health disparities in underserved communities stateside and abroad.
