Andreas Claesson, RN, EMT-P, PhD

Andreas Claesson, RN, EMT-P, PhD, is a registered nurse and paramedic in Western Sweden. He also holds a post-doctorate research position at the Centre for Resuscitation Science at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, where he focuses on innovative methods for early defibrillation for patients in cardiac arrest. This includes SMS-lifesaving dispatching of laymen and the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (i.e., drones) for delivery of AEDs in rural or hard-to-serve areas.
