Ahed Al Najjar, BSc, FPHC, FAHA, MPH, DOHS, serves as the Clinical Education Manager at National Ambulance in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. He’s also an adjunct instructor in rehabilitation science and technology in School of Health and Rehabilitation Science Program in Emergency Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Vice Chair of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare – SSH Book Salon Affinity Group. BCVSFellow of AHA and Senior Regional Faculty. He established AHA Training Sites in Middle East, Africa, Asia and remote locations. He was the first to initiate AED Access in Public location (Hotels) in Dubai and currently the Technical Director of King Saud Save a Life mega project. EMS Consultant in Puerto Princesa, Philippines since 2007 by the city’s mayor. He was EMS Consultant in United Nations UNOPS. He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals in EMS, Inflight Medical Emergencies, medical education and selected specialties locally, nationally and international presentations. He is also a member of the JEMS International Editorial Board.
