NH’s 300 Ambulance Service Units to Receive Disinfection Sprayers

According to a report from WHDH, the 300 licensed ambulance service units in New Hampshire will soon have access to electrostatic sprayers to help with disinfection, state safety officials said.

The sprayers will aid in faster turnaround times following emergency medical services (EMS) calls, said Justin Romanello, New Hampshire Bureau of EMS chief.

In a news release from October 14, safety officials said that the lightweight, handheld device allows for 360° touchless disinfection and sanitizing that is “ideal for the current pandemic.”

Funding was made available through the Granite State Health Care Coalition.
