The team paramedic for the Tennessee Titans is sharing his survival story after battling the coronavirus.
Mike Carlton, who’s also the manager of Emergency Medical Services for Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital System, told FOX 17 he is usually the person who helps others receive medical care.

Carlton told the station he had a high fever and could hardly breather for nearly two weeks. Other symptoms included nightmares brought on by low oxygen levels and a fever.
“I knew enough that if they put me on a vent, I was a really sick person and they put me on a vent because I had run out of gas and could no longer breathe for myself,” he said.
