A third member of the FDNY has tested positive for coronavirus, 1010 WINS reports.
The first FDNY EMS member tested positive last week. The president of the EMS union previously said the diagnosis was “inevitable” as EMS members are “continually exposed to diseases and illness.”

Meanwhile in Georgia, three EMS workers are self-isolating after transporting a person infected with COVID-19.
Officials with the MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service tell mdjonline.com the move is only a precautionary measure.
“We, just as a precautionary measure, had them go home and self-report to us how they’re doing, and we anticipate that they’ll be back in to work next week because none of them have any of the symptoms,” said Pete Quinones, CEO of the Marietta-based company.
