Escambia County EMS (FL) Reportedly Provided Medical Training without Certifications

EXCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – The  county’s Public Safety Department is reportedly accused of providing medical training without valid certifications, the Florida Department of Health alleges.

The Pensacola New Journal reports the states cited the county for “unprofessional conduct” and is looking to fine the county up to $1,000 a day for each day the county is in violation.

The county’s administrator told the newspaper it is looking to request an administrative hearing to respond to the complaint.
