ORANGE, Calif. – Officials with Falck USA announced the company has been selected to continue providing emergency ambulance services to more than two million residents and visitors in large parts of Orange County, California. The contract was approved today by the Board of Supervisors, designating Falck’s subsidiary Care Ambulance as the exclusive provider of 911 emergency ambulance service through 2025.

“Orange County is home to Care Ambulance, Falck’s first company in the U.S.,” Hagen continued. “We are really happy to continue our 50 years of service in Orange County.”
U.S. is a Key Market
Falck is one of the largest ambulance providers in the U.S., and the new contract underscores a position that is important to Falck’s operations in numerous countries around the world.

Falck has provided emergency ambulance service to communities throughout Orange County and neighboring Los Angeles County since 1969 under former ownership as Care Ambulance. Today, Falck serves an aggregate population of more than six million people in California. The company, which is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, also provides ambulance service in seven other U.S. states and in countries throughout Europe and South America.
