COLE COUNTY, Mo. – A lawsuit has been field by three former Cole County Emergency Medical Service employees alleging they were discriminated against by their former director, according to a report on KMIZ-TV.

The three – Michael Burks, Kim Kline and Aaron Steenbergen – allege they were fired in April 2018 because of their age. In one instance, Kline said her boss made sexual comments toward her.

County officials tell the station: “We operate within the confines of the law. Everyone is treated fairly based on their own merit.”
