Boys Charged with Pointing Handguns at Chicago Paramedics

Two arrested for pointing replica guns at personnel

CHICAGO – Two boys face charges after being arrested for pointing handguns at fire department personnel according to the Chicago Sun Times.

The pair were arrested on Monday after police were called to assist paramedics in the 6500 block of South Langley Avenue in the city’s Woodlawn neighborhood.

A 12-year old and 14-year old were carrying replica handguns and pointing them at the medics.

Each face one felony count of aggravated assault to emergency medical services personnel and one misdemeanor count of possessing replica firearms, according to police.

The boys were taken into custody and are scheduled to appear in juvenile court on October 28.
