Acadian Ambulance CEO Recognized with Lifetime Achievement Award at Pinnacle 2016

Acadian Ambulance Service founder and CEO Richard E. Zuschlag was recognized at the 2016 Pinnacle EMS leadership summit with a lifetime achievement award for his outstanding work in EMS and as the leader of Acadian for 43 years.

Noted as one of the most innovative leaders in EMS history, Zuschlag is credited with implementing Acadian’s unique subscription program, carpe diem philosophy, fleet monitoring and employee stock ownership plan. Zuschlag was also recognized by his colleagues for Acadian’s EMS services on offshore oil platforms, fixed- and rotor-wing assets, and for the multi-functional alarm network weaved into the system’s communications system.
