Philadelphia Crews Comfort Patient After Train Derailment

Emergency personnel work the scene of a train wreck in Philadelphia after an Amtrak train headed to New York City derailed and tipped over. Of the 243 people on board, eight were killed and more than 200 were injured, 11 critically. Some passengers who were able to walk off the train assisted first responders during the rescue. Here, responders treat and comfort a female patient.
