N.H. Man Accused of Killing EMT May Plead Insanity

NASHUA, N.H. — The man accused of killing an off-duty EMT last fall may use an insanity defense at his trial scheduled for next April.

Matthew Packer, of Nashua, is accused of fatally stabbing Paul Frontiero on Oct. 9, 2011. He’s also charged with trying to kill Nashua resident Kathryn Libby and assaulting a third woman, according to court documents.
