Man Dies of Cardiac Arrest at Wis. Grass Fire

VILLAGE OF LONE ROCK, Wis. (AP) — A southwestern Wisconsin man has died of cardiac arrest at a grass fire on his property.

The Iowa County sheriff’s office says the out-of-control grass fire was reported Saturday. The Lone Rock Fire Department and emergency medical services as well as the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources were dispatched.

Fire and emergency medical crews arrived and found a man down at the scene.

Sixty-eight-year-old Christopher Dyer of Avoca was taken to a Dodgeville hospital, but the county coroner later pronounced him dead from cardiac arrest.
