Union Accuses AMR of Fooling County

LAS VEGAS — The union representing hundreds of American Medical Response employees said AMR is trying to “pull the wool over the eyes of the county.”

There’s a chance more than 200 drivers and paramedics would walk out, according to union representatives, if a strike happens the day after Thanksgiving.

A representative for the union, SEIU, said he’s also an AMR paramedic. He said Thursday that they’re ready to go to the bargaining table, but the union hasn’t heard from AMR.
