Ambulance Collision Injures Woman in Pennsylvania

ROSS, Pa. — A woman suffered minor injuries Monday when her car was involved in a collision with a Ross ambulance responding to a fire call in Reserve, township police said.

The woman was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, North Side, following the crash shortly after 7 p.m. at the intersection of Perrysville Avenue and Cemetery Lane, near the exit ramp from Interstate 279, Ross police Sgt. Joseph Ley said.

The paramedic was not injured, Ley said. Witnesses told police that the ambulance had its emergency lights on and was using its siren.
