Concord EMS Official, Woman Face Indictment

FOREST PARK, Ill. — A Chicago police officer was arrested Saturday in suburban Forest Park and charged with four counts of aggravated battery, police said Sunday night.

The officer, who was off-duty at the time and not immediately identified, was charged with two counts of aggravated battery to a police officer and two counts of aggravated battery to a paramedic, said Chicago police spokeswoman Monique Bond. The officer remains in the custody of Forest Park police and has been relieved of his duties as a Chicago police officer, Bond said.
