Dr. Paul Phrampus is the director of the Peter M. Winter Institute for simulation, education and research (WISER) at the University of Pittsburgh, one of the busiest multidisciplinary simulation centers in the world. He's a practicing emergency physician and former paramedic, and has developed numerous simulation-based programs for emergency medicine and prehospital care.
