PSA Uses Hollywood, Disco to Promote Hands-Only CPR

Actor Ken Jeong, who's well-known for his roles in The Hangover and NBC's Community, has a new starring role.

He's now the face of the American Heart Association's new campaign to promote hands-only CPR. In the video, Jeong boogies down to the Bee Gee's "Stayin' Alive" to share tips with the public about what to do in the event of sudden cardiac arrest.

The video emphasizes the two steps to saving a life: call 9-1-1, and push hard and fast in the center of the chest. The AHA says "Stayin' Alive" is nearly the perfect rhythm for performing CPR chest compressions.

The AHA is working with Crowdrise.com to raise money to support its research and educational programs. Click here for more information.
