Utahans Will Soon be Able to Text 9-1-1 for Emergencies

Utahans will soon be able to text 9-1-1 in case of emergencies. The Salt Lake Valley Emergency Communications Center is now IP, or internet protocol, based which opens the way for new types of communication. In the future callers will not only be able to text, but send pictures and video as well.
