Suspicious Letters Scare at D.C. Schools
Officials say it's believed to be part of a pattern they are seeing across the country
WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Suspicious letters, containing white powder, were reported at DC schools Thursday, officials said.
During a news conference Thursday evening, DC Police Chief Cathy Lanier said the U.S. Postal Service and local DC authorities will screen the mail to make sure all the mail coming into the schools is safe.Tags: News, News Video, hazmat, decontamination
