Estimates of at least 20 vehicles involved in crash
DUBLIN, Ga. (11Alive.com) - A wreck involving 20 vehicles has shut down westbound Interstate 16 between Macon and Savannah. At least three people were killed. All lanes are blocked between mile posts 34 to 37 in Laurens County, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. The roadway is not expected to reopen until noon. Drivers are urged to avoid the area. Traffic in both directions is being rerouted from Highway 112 to Highway 26. For the latest traffic conditions around metro Atlanta, visit 11Alive.com/traffic.
