Missouri Commissioners Negotiate Ambulance Service

County-run service will begin later in 2014

ST. JOSEPH, Mo.(KQTV) - County commissioners continue to work with Heartland Hospital on the county-run ambulance service that will begin later this year. Heartland had previously announced it will stop ambulance service at the end of June. Voters approved a half-cent sales tax increase to fund the new county-run ambulance district.
