Providers worry more about heat exhaustion and heat stroke in upcoming days. The theory is that people returning to work will have extra work to pack into a shorter week after having been off for the holiday. Heat stroke and heat exhaustion are of particular concern for people with outdoor jobs, such as construction workers.
