Injured Florida Paramedic Talks About Family's Crash

Daughter delivered after July 4 crash did not survive

Corey Adamski, a Lieutenant paramedic with the City of Naples Fire Rescue, was driving home from a July 4 party with his pregnant wife, Kristina and two young daughters when a car struck their vehicle head-on.

Both Adamski and his wife suffered multiple broken bones from the pelvis down.

A new daughter, delivered in critical condition by emergency c-section, was taken off life support less than 72 hours later. The older daughters were also hospitalized, with one released and the other expected to be released soon.

NBC-2 of Fort Myers, Fla., spoke with Adamski about the crash and his family in an exclusive interview.

Doctors aren't sure when either parent will get out of the hospital.
