Hurricane Sandy Washes Away Some 9/11 Memories

Cherished mementos of those killed in the 9/11 attacks are lost to storm damage

BREEZY POINT, N,Y. (AP) - Many of those killed on 9/11 lived in the Breezy Point neighborhood. The remains of Joe Quinn's brother and Patrick Dowdell's father have never been found so they cherished old photographs, many of which were washed away in Superstorm Sandy. (Sept. 5)
