A look at EMS service in Harlem

Posted by Sherry Mazzocchi on YouTube - The FDNY EMS Base 13 has been in the works for a long time--nearly 30 years. Before base was opened in December, all 911 calls were routed through a base at Harlem Hospital at Lenox Ave. and 138th St. Now ambulances, EMTS, paramedics and other advance life support teams can arrive at destinations in Upper Manhattan much faster.
