D.C. Ambulances Out of Service During Hottest Day
WASHINGTON (WTTG) - It was not a great day for not having air conditioning. The sizzling temperatures are putting the heat on D.C.'s Fire Department. As many as 10 of the city's 25 Basic Life Support ambulances were out of service at one point during the day for mechanical repairs. Some of them had no air conditioning.
