California Ambulance Stolen During Call

San Mateo County ambulance stolen while crew is inside home

DALY CITY, California (NBC Bay Area) - Someone stole a San Mateo County ambulance in Daly City early Monday as emergency crews were responding to a call from a diabetic patient. Sgt. Eddie Klier said the ambulance driver left the vehicle running in the 500 block of Schwerin Street about 12:15 a.m. while trying to help the diabetic patient.
