Calif. Teen Rescued after Sand Collapse
He was trapped beneath 6 feet of sand for 20 minutes
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (KTLA) -- A teenage boy digging a hole on the beach had to be rescued after the sand collapsed and trapped him underneath, according to the Newport Beach Fire Department. He was breathing when crews rescued him and took him to the hospital.
