Austin/Travis County EMS Considers Changing Staffing Level of Ambulances

System considers changing to Paramedic and EMT level staffing.

AUSTIN (KNVA CW 54) - An ambulance responding to your next emergency might just have one paramedic on board. Right now, city law requires that Austin/Travis County EMS have two. But tonight, they're exploring the option of filling that second seat with a medical professional who has less training.
