N.Y. Sheriff's Deputy Honored for In-Flight EMS Care
The EMT training of a local sheriff's deputy comes in handy 30,000 feet in the air. The officer jumped into action to rescue a Rotterdam man who collapsed during a plane ride to Albany. His department is the only one in the state that requires EMS certifications for its deputies.
