Mass. FD Takes Over Ambulance Service

Since officials learned in April that Am-B-Care Ambulance Service was terminating its contract with the city, they have come up with a plan that avoided the layoff of 14 firefighters, saved a $250,000 grant, and will provide needed ambulance coverage.
