CPR Quality and Impedance Threshold Device Effectiveness

The ROC PRIMED Study, which compared use of an active (functional) and sham (non-functioning) ITD, initially showed no improvement in neurologically intact survival when using an ITD. Now, a new sub-analysis of the data, backed by experience with three EMS systems, shows that when implemented as part of a systems-based approach, the ITD does have a significant impact.
