It's the call of your career. You're assigned to the yellow treatment area at a major MCI and have to monitor 15 patients as you wait for the transport sector to clear out the red treatment area. Every patient is on non-rebreather oxygen, and you need to continuously monitor respirations. The Respi-Check Oxygen Mask from Lifesaving Systems Inc. has a small, clear tube that contains a red ball attached to a traditional non-rebreather mask. The ball rises and falls within the tube as the patient breathes. By following the bouncing ball, you can monitor respirations from several feet away.
