DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. – WSBTV has reported that a Grady Hospital EMT was killed in a motorcycle crash after work.
Jason Dale Strickland, 37, was struck by a drunk driver after leaving work on Sunday on I-20 West in Douglas County.
Police state that Strickland thrown from his motorcycle onto the center lane and was struck by several vehicles, including a tractor-trailer.
The driver of the vehicle that hit Strickland was identified as Francisco Ferrer, 33, of Dallas. Ferrer was charged with vehicular homicide and DUI.
The investigation is still continuing.
