NEW YORK - Six people are injured after a tractor-trailer careened onto a New York City sidewalk, pinning a minivan between a bus and a storefront.
Five people have been taken to hospitals following the accident Friday in Queens. A sixth person refused medical attention
None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
The fire department says it received the call of a crash at the intersection of Hillside Avenue and Hollis Court Boulevard at about 1:45 p.m.
Aerial photographs showed the van pinned between the bus and tractor-trailer, which careened onto the sidewalk and into the front of a grocery store.
There was no immediate information on whether the injured were bus passengers or occupants of the other vehicles.
