Patients have different facial features, and getting a good leak-free seal when using a traditional bag valve mask can be very challenging. The NuMask IOM (IntraOral Mask) from NuMask Inc. takes issues like facial hair, obesity and facial trauma completely out of the picture. This mask is different in that it works intraorally: It sits behind the lips and in front of the teeth like a snorkel. This allows a leak-free seal and better control. The NuMask is one-tenth the size of traditional masks, latex free and ideal for use with patients with facial trauma. NuMask also comes with a patented oralpharyngeal airway (OPA) that’s made from a firm and pliable compound. This OPA can be cut to size allowing the option to carry only one when space is limited. NuMask also offers a Pocket CPR IOM Kit with a one-way valve and filter for mouth-to-mask ventilation.
Transparency is Always Good
In many cases, once you’ve placed a cervical collar on your patient you no longer have the ability to visualize any injuries or changes in condition because the collar covers most, if not all, of the neck. The ClearCollar Adjustable Collar from Clear Advantage Collar Inc. is the world’s first fully transparent cervical immobilization extrication collar. The transparency of this collar allows you to monitor injuries and detect tracheal deviation, jugular venous distention or the development of hematomas. There are large openings both anterior and posterior for easy access and palpation. The collar is infinitely adjustable with multiple settings allowing for a custom fit on every patient, and it’s flexibility and cushioning make it extremely comfortable for the patient.
Size: Adult and pediatric

Confident Cric Placement
The proper management of a difficult airway is a matter of life and death. Any equipment that gives you feedback during a procedure is a welcome addition to your airway kit. The Portex Cricothyrotomy Kit from Smiths Medical has a Veress needle design that not only confirms entry into the trachea, but also gives you immediate feedback during the procedure. A red indicator flag in the needle hub indicates contact of the needle tip with the tissue. As you advance the device into the trachea, the red indicator flag in the needle hub will disappear. Continue advancing the device until the red indicator flag reappears in the needle hub indicating contact with the posterior cartilage. After completing a few additional steps, an airway is established. The kit comes preassembled and contains all the components needed for the procedure. The 6 mm bore cricothyrotomy tube with soft-seal cuff allows for spontaneous breathing by the patient.
Size: 6 mm bore cricothyrotomy tube; 15 mm connector
