This addition to the CELOX line of hemostatic granule agents is designed to effectively stop moderate to severe bleeding. CELOX-D uses the same chitosan-based agent as traditional CELOX, but with a new, unique and highly effective delivery system. The agent is contained in three dissolvable bags that allow precise and easy placement. Each bag breaks down upon contact with blood, releasing the agent right where it’s needed in the wound.
