The C-A-T (Combat Application Tourniquet), one of the most widely used tourniquets on the market, is even better this year. The new C-A-T’s windlass rod is now two times stronger and has a reinforced windlass clip. It also features a writable and highly visible security tab that allows providers to record the time of application for easy viewing by all involved in the patient’s care. The C-A-T also has a red elliptical tab to assist the user in locating and threading the strap during application.
