Joshua Cox, NREMT-P Joshua Cox, NREMT-P, has worked as a paramedic for the past 10 years in northern Kentucky. He’s been a firefighter/paramedic with the Independence (Ky.) Fire District for the past five years. He’s certified as an ASHI, ACLS, PALS and AHLS instructor and as a fire services instructor for Kentucky. He’s also a preceptor for paramedic student interns at northern Kentucky fire departments.
