Wayne Zygowicz, EMT-P, BA Emergency Medical Services Chief Littleton Fire Rescue, EMS Division Wayne Zygowicz is a 27-year veteran of the fire service and has served as a paramedic/firefighter for more than 20 years. He is an instructor at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Md., teaching leadership and management, and is in his fourth year of the Executive Fire Officer Program. Under his leadership, Littleton Fire Rescue has become a full Advanced Life Support fire-based EMS agency and is nationally known for incorporating state-of-the-art medical equipment and innovative training techniques to provide the highest level of customer service available to the communities they serve. Wayne is also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Emergency Medicine Services (JEMS) magazine and a technical adviser to the EMS Safety Foundation. |
