North Naples (Fla.) Fire Wants its Own Ambulance Services

It received its state certification to perform advanced life support in April

NAPLES, Fla. (NBC2) -- The NBC2 Investigators have learned one of Southwest Florida's largest fire districts wants to streamline patient care by eliminating the need to wait for an ambulance.

But the threats of losing tax dollars from the Collier County EMS budget and compromising patient care could prevent the plan from moving forward.
