New Jersey Fatal Fire and Ambulance Crash
En route to hospital, driver has a heart attack
AlertPage on YouTube - 1/8/13 Stillwater NJ, Sussex County. 2 Alarm House Fire with one fatality and one critical with burns. Medevac is called and an ambulance is transporting the burn patient to the landing zone when the driver suffers a fatal heart attack and strikes a utility pole. EMT and patient are trapped for an hour by power lines draped over the rig. Eventually the patient and EMT are extricated and the patient is flown to a burn center, the EMT goes by land to the ER.
Radio traffic is of the ambulance crash and ensuing rescue, and has been edited down removing dead air and non-essential communications..
