Aurora Shooting Victim's Brother Honors EMT
EMT Brent Lowak was at Jessica Ghawi's side during the shooting
Austin, Texas — Brent Lowak, an EMT and friend to Aurora shooting victim Jessica Ghawi, stayed with Ghawi until the end before trying to escape himself. He used his EMT training to help her as much as he could. Her brother calls Lowak a "hero in every sense of the word" and is glad Ghawi spent her last moments with such a good friend.
