13 Hurt in Mass. Special Needs Van, Garbage Truck Crash

It took responders 10 minutes to get one passenger out using the Jaws of Life

BOSTON, Mass. (WCVB ABC 5) -- More than a dozen people were taken to the hospital, two with serious injuries, when a van filled with special needs passengers crashed into a Waste Management truck. Responders had to use the Jaws of Life to cut the front passenger out of the van. It took 10 minutes. The special needs passengers were headed to a rehab center for a day program when the crash happened.
