One crew of San Diego firefighters/EMTs has now filed EEOC complaints and intend to file suit against the city for sending them to participate in the city s gay pride parade while on duty. The crew alleges they were forced to participate in the parade, which exposed them to sexual harassment.

$1 Million Online Training Grant Offered to Volunteer & Combination Fire Departments

TargetSafety, Inc. has partnered with the Volunteer and Combination Officers Section (VCOS) of the International Association of Fire Chiefs to provide Volunteer and Combination Fire Departments in the U.S. with a $1 million online training grant covering fire, EMS, terrorism, FEMA, OSHA, and human resource training.
