Wheeled Coach Industries, Inc., the world's largest ambulance manufacturer, has certified its modular ambulance bodies to the requirements of NFPA 1901-09 section 14.3.2. These dynamic tests were performed by the Center of Advanced Product Evaluation (CAPE), a world-class independent testing facility to the following standards:
'The U.S. Fire Service clearly understands the importance of dynamic testing to ensure their fire apparatus is constructed to maximize the safety of their personnel while in the cab of their emergency vehicles. As the most dynamically tested and certified ambulance manufacturer in America, we felt it was critical to our mission to provide the same levels of testing required for the cab of fire apparatus to that of our modular ambulance bodies. It only makes sense that the medics and patients in an ambulance deserve the same benefits these dynamic tests provide in the design and manufacturing of their ambulance" stated Scott Barnes, Vice President of Wheeled Coach Industries, Inc.
Customers and prospective purchasers can contact their Wheeled Coach dealer for full copies of these recent tests.
