Judith Acosta, LISW, MSW, ChT, is a licensed psychotherapist, hypnotherapist and crisis counselor in private practice in New York, as well as a consultant in the use of classical homeopathy. She’s trained in critical incident stress management, was a member of the Victims Assistance Program, the Hudson Valley CISM Team, the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and the clinical panel of POPPA—Police Organization Providing Peer Assist ance with New York City police officers.
She is the author of The Next Osama, co-author of The Worst is Over and the newly released Verbal First Aid, as well as the author of numerous articles on mental health and cultural issues.
