Automotive Climate Control, Inc., doing business as ACC Climate Control, is a growing and dynamic designer, manufacturer and installer of mobile air conditioning and heating systems supplying OEM and aftermarket customers in the bus, ambulance, van, emergency vehicle, sleeper cab, specialty truck, off-highway and small cab markets. The principal partners of ACC Climate Control are the company's management team. The headquarters, technical center, and manufacturing facilities of ACC Climate Control are strategically located at the "Crossroads of America" in Elkhart, Indiana. We offer custom engineered and design capabilities for mobile climate control systems, servicing customers on a nationwide basis. With quick access to major markets through primary interstates, rail lines and regional airports, delivery anywhere is never a problem. Thanks to ACC Climate Control’s aggressive attitude toward research, development and product improvement as well as our proactive participation in worldwide idle reduction programs, we have developed systems that eliminate the necessity of truck, bus and specialty vehicles to idle during harsh weather conditions. These systems are battery or shore power. We also offer fuel-fired heaters. These products are the solution to the ever-increasing no-idle regulations being enacted throughout the country. Our company roots go back to 1948, when a company, known as Truck and Coach Heater Manufacturing, was founded in Livonia, Michigan. Though we have seen radical change in our business lifetime, the cornerstone principle of superior customer service has never changed. That principle, coupled with constant research and development for new and improved products, keeps us growing in a very competitive marketplace and will help to keep our customers on top of their competition. As ACC Climate Control has grown, it became a necessity to expand our presence in other areas. In 2005, ACC Climate Control established a facility in Byron, Georgia primarily to install and service HVAC systems in school buses for the southern states.
